I'm from Minneapolis. Following the debates incident, nobody seems willing to talk about Nader. Two weeks ago, we had 12,000 people cheering "Let Ralph Debate", but now the mentality is gone. What has gone wrong? Are we going to be intimidated so easily by one incident? Am I the only one who has noticed this?

Actually, I had NOT noticed this, quite the opposite in fact. For example, some folks here have noticed that the petition board has surged since the debate. A friend who posts about Nader on other "non-Nader" political forums said that since then he noticed an increase in the number of Nader post-ers. One of which said that the debate incident tipped him over the fence into Naders court. I think that the debate incident may well have damaged the credibility of the current system among people who watch and think about it. So don't despair at all, stay pumped. |

I've also been posting in a non-Nader board. People are focusing more on Nader. The first presidential debate definitely turned their stomachs too. Basically, the two parties shot themselves in the foot. |

Our numbers are up in the polls. Democrats are WORRIED - see the surge in the number and intensity of their remarks here. |

I'm sorry. I simply percieved it as a decline in people willing to discuss Nader. I will agree that the two parties did shoot themselves in the foot, and will pay for this one. I just realized that people who would have usually stood up for Nader simply didn't bother... Well, thank you anyways... |

Elise, Posters on the "Star Tribune" online bulletin boards were outraged over Nader's treatment at the debates. Several threads there are discussing Nader--join us. |
